{"id":1269,"date":"2021-01-21T13:13:09","date_gmt":"2021-01-21T12:13:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.btlaw.sk\/?p=1269"},"modified":"2021-10-21T13:20:49","modified_gmt":"2021-10-21T11:20:49","slug":"slovak-data-protection-authority-plans-to-check-e-shops-in-2021","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.btlaw.sk\/en\/slovak-data-protection-authority-plans-to-check-e-shops-in-2021\/","title":{"rendered":"Slovak Data Protection authority plans to&nbsp;check e-shops in 2021"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Slovak Office for Personal Data Protection has published a&nbsp;plan of inspections for 2021.<\/p>\n<p>The inspections will focus in particular on risky activities and operations associated with the use of new technologies and procedures.<\/p>\n<p>Within the public sector, the DPA plans to&nbsp;focus on the control of state administration bodies, especially on the Public Health Office of the Slovak Republic after the processing of personal data through mobile applications designed to&nbsp;monitor compliance with the isolation regulations and contacts with other devices.<\/p>\n<p>Within the private sector, e \u2013 shops and controllers who process personal data when selling goods or providing services on the basis of a&nbsp;distance contract will be in the spotlight.<\/p>\n<p>The inspections are planned to&nbsp;focus on:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>compliance with the principles and conditions of lawful processing of personal data;<\/li>\n<li>conditions for expressing consent;<\/li>\n<li>conditions for the processing of special categories of personal data;<\/li>\n<li>conditions for exercising the rights of the data subjects;<\/li>\n<li>joint controllers, processors;<\/li>\n<li>processing on behalf of the controller or processor;<\/li>\n<li>security of personal data;<\/li>\n<li>data protection impact assessment;<\/li>\n<li>responsible person.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In 2021, unfinished inspections, which were not completed in 2020, will also continue.<\/p>\n<p>Source: https:\/\/dataprotection.gov.sk\/uoou\/sk\/content\/plan-kontrol-na-rok-2021<\/p>\n<p><em>This article is for general and informational purposes only, and the conclusions, opinions or recommendations presented herein may not apply to&nbsp;a&nbsp;specific situation.
